As you approach campus coming up Churchill Blvd., on your left is the old Hadassah Hospital, which was also in the Israeli enclave after 1948. The building was designed in the 1930s by Erich Mendelssohn, and is an interesting adaptation of the famous German architect’s Modernist commercial style to the unique conditions of Jerusalem’s landscape and light.
