Jan’s, below the Jerusalem Theater. Light fare is delicious but somewhat expensive (NIS10 minimum). Eclectic clientele and opium-den-like aura make it well worth the price. Kosher.
Kakao (Cocoa), Jerusalem Cinematheque, Hebron Rd., directly across from the southeast walls of the Old City. Excellent food, views, and ambiance (see above under Entertainment); not cheap. Open daily ll:30am-lam.
