Yad LeYad Youth Hostel (HI) (tel. 82 33 45) is a Vi-km farther north along the main road and across from the sea. You can buy meals at the bar next door or cook them in the hostel kitchen. (Reception open 24 hrs. Bungalows NIS35, singles N1S42, doubles NIS90. Breakfast included.) About 200m north, on the opposite side of the street, the SPNP (tel. 82 37 62) leads walks in the area (open 8am-4:30pm). Their field school rents excellent private rooms (up to 6 people, NIS160) although it is frequently rilled by groups. You can reach the nature field school, hostel, beach, and campground by buses #22, 24, 25, and 26, which depart from Nahariya twice per hour (NIS8.40). Sherut taxis also run frequently between Akhziv and Nahariya.
