#1 (blue background): To Sporting Club, Sidi Gaber ash-Sheikh, and beaches.
#2 (red background): To Sporting Club, Sidi Gaber, Cleopatra, and beaches.
#3 (blue on yellow): To Sporting Club and Sidi Gaber ash-Sheikh,
#4 (blue or black on yellow): Inland to Sidi Gaber, then back.
#5 (black on white): To Sporting Club, Sidi Gaber, further east and inland.
#14 (blue background, yellow tram): Misr Station, through Al-Manshiya Sq. to Raml
Station, southeast to Muharram Bey St. and the art museum. #15 (yellow tram): West to beaches, through Al-Goumrouk and Al-Anfushi to Ras at Tin and Pharos. #16 (yellow tnim): From Al-Manshiya Sq. south to Karmus and Pompey’s Pillar.
City buses stop at three main terminals-Sa’ad Zaghloul Sq,, Al-Manshiya Sq., and Misr Station. Buses run from approximately 5:3Oam-midnight or lam and cost 10-50pt. Buses to Abu Qir, caught from the corniche in front of Sa’ad Zaghloul Sq., have no number, so ask around. Four buses run from Orabi Sq. to the airport: #303 and 310 (both 20pt) and #703 and 710 (both 25pt). Only Arabic numbers are marked on buses, this time with no color hints-familiarize yourself with them (see language glossary).
