To Assyut (7 per day, 5am-7pm, 4hr., LE6.75), Cairo (6am, 9am, and 10pm, 10hr., morning buses LE16.5O, evening buses LE20), Dakhla (7am and lpm; at 4pm the bus from Assyut and Cairo stops in Kharga en route to Dakhla; 3hr., LE6, most buses have no A/Q, and Baris (noon and 2pm, 2hr.,LE1.35).

Service Taxis: Opposite bus station. Fairly frequent service to Assyut (LE8). Occasionally to Dakhla (LE6). Special (unshared) to Dakhla, LE40. Collective taxis for a day’s sight-seeing may be hired (LE70, special LE100).
